Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including mobility, hygiene, and nutrition
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Administer medications as per physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergency situations
- Participate in weekend shift handovers and care coordination meetings
Qualifications
- Active CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Weekend availability mandatory (Sat/Sun 6AM-6PM)
- BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain immediately)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
- Background check and drug screening clearance
