Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 and tier-2 technical support via phone and email to end-users during weekend hours.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printers, laptops, and network connectivity.
- Manage and prioritize incoming help desk tickets in our ticketing system (ServiceNow/Jira).
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates and security patches.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in our knowledge base.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and peripherals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in technical support or a similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and troubleshooting protocols.
- Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, LogMeIn) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first approach.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 25 lbs.
