As a Weekend IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our employees during critical weekend operations. You will ensure business continuity by maintaining our IT infrastructure and resolving technical tickets efficiently. Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues during weekend shifts.
- Manage and resolve incoming help desk tickets in a timely manner using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on workstations, printers, and local servers.
- Monitor system performance and respond to critical alerts promptly.
- Collaborate with the team to improve IT processes and update documentation.
- Ensure data security and compliance with company policies during off-hours operations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- CompTIA A+ certification is a plus.
- Availability to work weekends (Friday - Sunday) or Saturday - Sunday rotations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
