Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and ensure seamless care transitions during weekend shifts
- Manage electronic health records with precision and maintain strict HIPAA compliance
- Provide compassionate patient support and address inquiries with exceptional communication skills
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and specialists to coordinate urgent care needs
- Prepare weekend shift reports and ensure accurate handoff to weekday teams
- Assist with patient intake procedures and maintain organized clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare administration or patient services
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to remain calm under pressure
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Flexibility to cover varying weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in healthcare field preferred
