Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient support during weekend shifts, including vital sign monitoring and medication assistance
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation with precision
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Respond to patient inquiries with empathy and clinical accuracy
- Assist with weekend admission/discharge procedures and paperwork
- Participate in weekend staff huddles and training sessions
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and weekend-specific protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in healthcare setting
- Current Florida CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification must be current
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage
- Spanish language skills highly valued for diverse patient population
