What You Will Do
We are looking for a proactive problem-solver to handle our weekend operations. Your primary focus will be on maintaining uptime, executing updates, and providing essential support to our internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system health and performance metrics across all servers and networks during weekend shifts.
- Execute critical system patches, security updates, and maintenance tasks without disrupting business operations.
- Resolve incoming technical support tickets and troubleshoot hardware/software issues for internal staff.
- Conduct regular data backups and verify the integrity of stored information.
- Document all technical procedures, incident reports, and system changes in the knowledge base.
- Collaborate with the on-call support team for seamless shift handovers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of Linux or Windows Server environments.
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
