Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and mobility assistance
- Assist with patient hygiene, feeding, and comfort measures during weekend shifts
- Accurately document patient observations and care activities in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless weekend care delivery
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments per hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Current CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during weekend rotations
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
