About the Role
As a Weekend Tech Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, resolving technical issues with empathy and efficiency. You will troubleshoot hardware and software problems, guide users through technical processes, and document all interactions to ensure high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality technical support via phone, email, and chat during weekend shifts.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for internal staff and external clients.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system (Zendesk/Jira).
- Collaborate with the IT team to escalate complex issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor when handling high-volume inquiries.
- Ensure all technical processes comply with company security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in technical support or customer service.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot common network and printer issues.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
