Responsibilities
- Monitor & Maintain: Oversee server health, network performance, and system integrity during weekend operations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for internal and external clients with minimal supervision.
- Security Audits: Perform routine security patches, backups, and vulnerability scans to protect company assets.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of all technical interventions and system changes.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the weekday engineering team to resolve ongoing issues.
- Customer Assistance: Provide high-level technical support to clients via phone and ticketing systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, TCP/IP networking, and basic scripting (Python/Bash).
- Availability: Must be available to work Friday through Sunday on a rotational schedule.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
