Responsibilities
- Supervise Weekend Operations: Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently during Saturday and Sunday shifts.
- Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts and manage stock levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and coordinate the efforts of part-time staff, providing clear instructions and safety briefings.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy before dispatch.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct regular safety audits of the facility.
- Reporting: Generate and review shift reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy and turnaround time.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to relay instructions clearly to a diverse team.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment processes.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift and pallet jack operator certification is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
