Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care assistance to clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition or safety concerns to the supervising nurse immediately.
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments or social activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation regarding care provided and client incidents.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Current valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy and patience.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
