Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year tech roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping 2026-viable technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in biotech, neurotech, and climate tech
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment and human-machine symbiosis
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on future tech implications
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget for experimental R&D initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with demonstrated 2026-vision implementation
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Future Studies
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Deep understanding of geopolitical tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional data modeling skills for complex system simulations
