- Develop cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligning with 5-year strategic vision
- Lead pre-emptive R&D initiatives in climate-resilient infrastructure and neurotech
- Collaborate with C-suite to embed future-proof principles into organizational DNA
- Present trend reports to investors and board members with actionable foresight
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio balancing moonshots and near-term applications
- Build external ecosystem partnerships with academic labs and frontier tech startups
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products post-2020
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech foresight publications
- Advanced degree in Systems Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA from top-tier institution
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation grants from NSF or DARPA
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology mastery
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech-to-market transitions
