Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026+
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to ideate future-proof solutions
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators and geopolitical impacts on industry evolution
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging concepts
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published research or patents in future studies or innovation management
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, APF) required
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
