Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 innovation strategy roadmap aligning with long-term business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Design scenario-planning frameworks to anticipate market disruptions and competitive threats
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for collaborative innovation
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Mentor innovation teams in future-thinking methodologies and agile execution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or technology foresight roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies and their market implications
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives in tech-driven industries
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., CFM) preferred
