Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market impact
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational strategic goals
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a portfolio of innovation projects from concept to MVP launch
- Build and nurture an internal innovation ecosystem including startup partnerships
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching technology products with 2026+ market relevance
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous innovation cycles
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, backcasting)
