Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 Innovation Roadmap, identifying key technological and societal inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for future markets (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Produce horizon-scanning reports on emerging threats and opportunities through 2026
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Develop strategic scenarios for climate adaptation, workforce evolution, and regulatory landscapes
- Present future visions to investors, board members, and strategic partners
- Mentor innovation teams in futures thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology) and societal impact
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives in tech or consulting
- Strong presentation skills for C-level audiences and external stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-vision projects or thought leadership
