Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data from 15+ emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum computing, climate tech)
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 partners
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives
- Produce trend briefs and scenario-planning frameworks
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio
- Present at global summits (Web Summit, CES, TED)
- Mentor junior futurists and PhD candidates
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published research on exponential technologies
- Portfolio of 3+ implemented future-proofing projects
- Deep network with DARPA, Singularity University, and MIT Media Lab
- Proficiency in scenario modeling tools (STELLA, Causal Mapping)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
