Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 strategic roadmap through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize technological, behavioral, and market signals
- Develop quantitative/qualitative models to forecast industry disruption vectors
- Partner with R&D to prioritize moonshot projects aligned with 2026 capabilities
- Present future-state frameworks to investors and board members
- Build an innovation ecosystem with academic institutions and thought leaders
- Author annual 'Future State' whitepapers influencing industry discourse
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable impact
