Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging opportunities and disruptive threats
- Produce actionable white papers on technological convergence and societal implications
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-ready principles into organizational DNA
- Monitor global signals of change across geopolitics, climate science, and exponential technologies
- Build and mentor a high-performing futurist innovation team
- Champion ethical innovation and sustainable development in all strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams and managing global foresight projects
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
