Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze technological, societal, and economic trends shaping 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for long-term organizational positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-oriented initiatives
- Produce trend reports and innovation briefs for executive decision-making
- Identify emerging technologies requiring strategic investment or partnership
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate vision
- Represent company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into executable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or other accredited program)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
