Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent filings, and academic research to identify disruptive innovations by 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies navigating future markets
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term technology adoption paths
- Produce quarterly horizon scanning reports with quantifiable impact assessments
- Advvent venture capital portfolio companies on future-proofing business models
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and future-focused conferences
- Mentor junior futurists using proprietary forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi method, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and predictive modeling
- Global network of academic, industry, and government futurist contacts
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year strategic implementations
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
