Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech, socio-economic shifts, and market discontinuities to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic roadmaps for 3-5 year horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to generate and validate futuristic business models
- Present compelling foresight narratives to executive stakeholders and investors
- Monitor and interpret global signals (policy, tech, cultural) affecting future business landscapes
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into tangible product and service innovations
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in AI, biotech, quantum computing, or climate tech convergence points
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi, backcasting)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state projects or published thought leadership
