Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI ethics, and space exploration domains
- Develop 10-year strategic frameworks for organizational resilience in disruptive environments
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed future-proofing principles into business models
- Produce scenario-planning reports for geopolitical and technological disruption scenarios
- Host cross-functional workshops on emerging technologies and their societal impacts
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and policy summits
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite advisory role
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership on long-term trend forecasting (Harvard Business Review/MIT Press)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience leading multi-stakeholder scenario planning initiatives for Fortune 500 clients
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
