Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026 technology convergence (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging market opportunities and disruptive threats
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or innovation frameworks
