Responsibilities
- Anticipate global technological, economic, and social trends through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ innovation initiatives across product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused priorities
- Produce trend reports and white papers on disruptive technologies and their market implications
- Partner with R&D to identify breakthrough opportunities and accelerate innovation pipelines
- Advise leadership on risk mitigation for emerging threats and paradigm shifts
- Establish thought leadership through speaking engagements and published research
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented planning
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience leading high-impact strategic initiatives in tech or consulting
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-focused projects or publications
