Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal trends through 2026 using quantitative modeling and qualitative research
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging domains (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive stakeholders
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations
- Identify partnership opportunities with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Analyze geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term strategy
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Demonstrated success in translating foresight into business strategy
- Strong background in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Excellent presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology ethics
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
