Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 10-year strategic scenarios and transition roadmaps for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, design, and product teams
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership pieces for industry conferences
- Build predictive models using trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Advise the executive board on emerging regulatory frameworks and geopolitical shifts
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell Method, Delphi)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market advantage
- Certification from Association of Professional Futurists (APF) required
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Portfolio of published future-focused research
