Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation to future disruptions
- Partner with R&D and product teams to align innovation roadmaps with long-term market projections
- Present executive-level foresight briefings and influence strategic decision-making
- Establish global networks with futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Design and implement organizational foresight methodologies and training programs
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and technological indicators affecting future landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic implementations of future-focused initiatives
- Certification in futures thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Experience with futures simulation tools and data visualization platforms
