Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop comprehensive strategic foresight frameworks for 5-10 year planning horizons
- Partner with executive leadership to align organizational strategy with future market realities
- Produce scenario-based strategic models for high-impact decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops on future implications and innovation pathways
- Author thought leadership publications and predictive trend reports
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track strategic adaptation progress
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
- Experience working with C-suite executives on strategic transformation
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
