Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to forecast 3-5 year market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for business continuity and competitive advantage in 2026+ environments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions and innovation priorities
- Produce executive-grade trend reports and disruption risk assessments quarterly
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic foresight effectiveness and ROI
- Mentor junior strategists in advanced analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Proven track record of developing successful future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
