Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead scenario planning workshops to map future market disruptions and competitive landscapes
- Produce high-impact trend reports for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future societal needs
- Establish KPIs to track the evolution of future-focused initiatives
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of translating future insights into executable business strategies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, whitepapers)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) strongly preferred
