Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ strategic vision through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align on future-facing initiatives
- Author quarterly trend briefings and innovation roadmaps for board-level decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, etc.)
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring strategic readiness and innovation ROI
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and technology summits
- Mentor junior strategists and build an internal future-focused knowledge ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or market disruptions
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, Web3)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field required
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (books, journals, keynotes)
- Global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
