Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic vision roadmap with quarterly innovation milestones
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their commercial implications
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Author annual 'Future Horizons' trend reports distributed to industry partners
- Manage a $5M innovation fund portfolio for pilot projects
- Present strategic briefings to the board of directors and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of implementing long-term strategic initiatives
- Expertise in technology forecasting and market trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Strategic Management, Futures Studies, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (preferred)
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and boards
- Deep knowledge of at least two emerging technology domains
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic transformation projects
