Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech) with 2026+ market implications
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning R&D investments with future market demands and competitive landscapes
- Facilitate cross-functional strategy sessions with engineering, product, and leadership teams to translate foresight into actionable initiatives
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and executive briefings on technological disruption scenarios
- Establish innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and validation of futuristic concepts
- Represent company at global tech forums (Web Summit, CES, MIT Tech Review Summit) to shape industry discourse
- Build and manage an ecosystem of academic, startup, and corporate innovation partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with proven 2025+ vision implementation
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) with published thought leadership
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with experience translating foresight into executable business plans
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Track record of launching or scaling technology ventures with $10M+ budgets
- Proficiency in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong network within global tech innovation communities (WEF, IEEE, Singularity University)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences and Fortune 500 boards
