Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AI convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing patent-pending innovations with market impact
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 5-7 year commercialization potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation programs
- Present technological vision to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for next-gen technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in R&D leadership with proven track record of commercializing emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology
- Experience managing cross-disciplinary teams of 15+ professionals
- Strong background in technology forecasting and scenario planning
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
