Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Establish quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with industry partners to implement real-world quantum applications
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, superconducting)
- Present architectural blueprints to executive stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Track record of leading complex R&D projects from concept to prototype
