- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-scale applications
- Manage cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through NIH/NSF proposals
- Pioneer error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Develop IP portfolio with 15+ patent filings annually
- Partner with IBM/Google quantum hardware teams
- Present findings at Nature/Science journals and Davos forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science
- 5+ years quantum computing research experience
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed papers in QIP/STOC
- Proficiency in Qiskit/Cirq frameworks
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Expertise in topological quantum computing
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering
- Fluency in Python/C++ for quantum simulations
