Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Transition Strategy: Define the architectural roadmap for integrating quantum processors into existing classical cloud infrastructure.
- Hybrid Algorithm Design: Develop and optimize hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve complex, unsolvable problems in logistics and finance.
- System Scalability: Design fault-tolerant systems capable of scaling from quantum sub-systems to global enterprise deployments.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Bridge the gap between theoretical physicists and software engineers to translate scientific breakthroughs into production-ready code.
- Risk Management: Identify potential quantum threats to current cryptographic standards and implement post-quantum cryptography (PQC) solutions.
- Prototyping: Build and test experimental quantum modules in a sandbox environment before full production release.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in systems architecture, cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), and high-performance computing.
- Quantum Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of quantum computing principles, qubit gates, and quantum circuit design.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, C++, and familiar with quantum programming languages like Qiskit or Cirq.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of anticipating technological trends and leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Communication: Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical executive leadership.
