Responsibilities
- Forecast market and technology trends with 3-5 year precision using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Develop annual 'Horizon 2026' innovation frameworks aligned with ESG and UN SDG principles
- Lead stakeholder workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Author white papers and keynote presentations on emerging tech paradigms (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, etc.)
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready principles into development lifecycles
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting long-term strategy implementation
- Maintain a '2026 Impact Index' to track and prioritize emerging opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend forecasting using tools like Delphi method, horizon scanning, and AI-driven scenario modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with portfolio of published foresight work
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or Foresight Practitioners Network)
- Experience developing multi-year innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and strategic planning software
