Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts affecting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing adoption and climate-resilient infrastructure
- Produce executive-ready strategic briefings on metaverse economics and neuro-ergonomics
- Coordinate cross-functional sprints with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University for trend validation
- Present annual 'Future State' reports to the board and investor community
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders incubator program
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (AI/ML, synthetic biology)
- Expertise in scenario modeling and systems dynamics simulation tools
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and demographic megatrends through 2030
- Experience with venture capital due diligence for frontier technologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy transformation
