Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends across technology, geopolitics, and climate to identify 2026 opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning models for quantum computing, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on 2026 strategic imperatives
- Author quarterly foresight reports for executive board and investor briefings
- Build partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other futurist networks
- Translate foresight into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry thought leadership
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi method, and trend impact analysis
- Published work on exponential technologies or societal transformation
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Proven ability to influence executive decision-making through data-driven narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 trend predictions with 85%+ accuracy
