Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology domains
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to prepare for disruptive market shifts
- Produce annual 'Horizon Reports' detailing emerging threats and opportunities in 5-year windows
- Design ethical frameworks for future technologies ensuring responsible innovation
- Manage cross-functional 'Future Task Forces' prototyping next-gen solutions
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on 2026 market readiness
- Author thought leadership publications in top-tier industry journals
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Certification in scenario planning, systems thinking, or horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Published author in future studies or technology innovation publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
