Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging trends with 3-5 year strategic implications
- Lead cross-functional workshops synthesizing insights from tech, policy, and academic thought leaders
- Produce actionable scenario-planning models for quantum-resistant infrastructure and AGI governance
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and sustainable development targets
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Manage a global network of futurist partners and academic institutions
- Oversee development of proprietary futures intelligence tools and methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-tech leadership
- Proven track record of implementing future-oriented initiatives with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals or industry whitepapers
- MSc/PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex scenarios to executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on technology disruption scenarios
