Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and decentralized networks
- Partner with VPs across product, engineering, and security to align innovation priorities
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with commercialization potential
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Author white papers on paradigm-shifting technologies for industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, or bio-integrated systems
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience with global tech policy frameworks (e.g., OECD AI Principles)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/R preferred)
- Validated ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical executives
