Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and scientific breakthroughs
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and patent landscape analysis
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify acquisition targets
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in emerging technology forecasting and commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Strong publication record in IEEE/Nature journals or equivalent
- Experience with technology valuation models and patent strategy
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
