Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AGI)
- Lead strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 tech pioneers
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Present innovation frameworks to executive leadership and board of directors
- Manage a $15M annual R&D budget for experimental projects
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations in AI and biotech
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (10+ years experience)
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/neuro/bio)
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and Fortune 500 boards
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Fluency in strategic forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2025+ technology predictions with >70% accuracy
