Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap spanning AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype next-gen solutions with 10+ industry partners
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members through data-driven storytelling
- Mentor a team of 8-12 researchers and engineers while fostering a culture of radical innovation
- Secure $5M+ in strategic partnerships and venture capital for experimental projects
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global tech summits
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record launching breakthrough products valued at $100M+
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published author in tech journals or frequent keynote speaker at global conferences
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting models
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $10M annually
