Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for generative AI and autonomous decision systems
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for 2026-era AI deployment models
- Develop compliance protocols aligning with evolving federal AI regulations (NIST AI Framework 2.0)
- Lead stakeholder workshops on AI ethics with engineering, legal, and policy teams
- Create transparency documentation and explainability standards for black-box AI models
- Monitor global AI regulatory developments and advise on strategic compliance pathways
- Train cross-functional teams on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics roles with regulated tech deployments
- Deep expertise in NIST AI Framework, EU AI Act, and emerging US AI legislation
- Proven experience conducting algorithmic bias audits and mitigation strategies
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethics Certification) or equivalent
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with AI model explainability tools (SHAP, LIME, Counterfactual Explanations)
- Portfolio of published AI ethics frameworks or compliance documentation
