Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the long-term technical vision for the 2026 Horizon Initiative, aligning technology with business objectives.
- Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier engineering talent, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.
- Technical Architecture: Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native systems and quantum-ready architectures.
- R&D Oversight: Spearhead research and development efforts in Generative AI, Machine Learning, and distributed ledger technologies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights for the executive board and investors.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure robust cybersecurity protocols and regulatory compliance across all platforms.
- Process Optimization: Implement Agile methodologies and DevOps practices to maximize delivery velocity and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CTO, VP of Engineering, or Engineering Director).
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; PhD preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), distributed systems, and modern programming languages (Python, Go, Rust).
- Innovation Track Record: Proven history of delivering breakthrough products in high-growth environments or startups.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: PMP, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent advanced technical certifications.
